http://www.ted.com A must-see for every parent and teacher. Education guru Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining (and profoundly moving) case for creating an education system that nurtures creativity, rather than undermining it. Sir Ken Robinson is author of "Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative," and a leading expert on innovation in education and business. (Recorded February, 2006 in Monterey, CA.) "I'm drawing a picture of God."
"But no one knows what God looks like."
"They will in a minute."
That made me laugh so much XD
Anyway, I completely agree with him. I really like his way of thinking.

Except once. I had a teacher who started a computer animation program in my high school, and I took to it like a hooker to smack, like a drowning person to a life preserver.
But in every other case...he's so very, very right; I was steered away from the subjects that interested me in favor of crap I haven't used then or since.

Lets make this World the place it ought to be.
However, I don't think he means to underestimate the importance of Maths in education. It is one of the most important subjects for people who are going to be scientist and engineers. Though all the people are not going to be scientists, engineers or ..... dancers. :)
So, how to design an education system to get maximum out of child's abilities is the key point here, I think. What is not happening right now. Children are not slaves of an Education system right?
