andyottito, you don't need to play ska to have a trombone player. I personally like the way they creativealy incorporate the music into their new stuff.

i bought their new album and i really tried to like it but it bored me after the first couple of listens. i'm not even a super huge fan of their first 2 albums (although i do consider those to be their best) but yeah, i just don't really care for todays music. a bit after the 90's it just got terrible (i don't talk about all bands or music, but in general, most of it)

ive always loved the ska music, but now like more pop rock stuff like this, but i do like there ska stuff.
Personally i think this is there best album creativity wise.

This album is a concept album, and if you read anything about them at all, they're simply trying to break genres. As they preach in their music, they don't really agree with conforming, so labeling them as any type of music other than just rock would have to be: Ska/funk/punk/reggae/jazz
Resignation was a lifechanging album, and this one's great too, but like I said: Concept album.

exactly why I like them so much. They make good music, and they are only in it to make the music. Thats why I like Dispatch so much, but they got too big and broke up =(. Another band, Streetlight Manifesto, best ska band ever, and they are only in it for the music, I just love it.
