Never mind, I was right... and wrong. Yes, it's 24 frets. But, I also found out today his signature model Caparison was announced. I saw a picture of it... and, you guessed it. 24 frets, White body, Maple neck, and so on... Basically, the guitar's a Caparison. :D (kind of funny, actually).

Depending on the pick-ups of the guitar, by just tapping the strings, the amplifier is able to pick up to sound being resonating from it.
It's not too hard to figure out.

I'm a huge fan of Romeo, so the following is not intended as a put down on him, just a criticism of this particular piece (and others he has done that are similar).
When he plays it at 100, it sounds absolutely beautiful, the music is clearly put forth in its lavish beauty and complexity.
When he does it at 172, it sounds like a synth loop sped up. It showcases his skill, but it loses beauty and it becomes robotic bore.
