This is the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. Though Mitsu has lightly disguised it as the Prototype X concept car for the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, this turbocharged, all-wheel-drive sedan is the Evo X. No doubt about it. We're so sure about it that we'll just refer to the Prototype X as the next Evo X for the rest of this report.

I read a review on topgear's site and it confirmed the X's handling capabilities were better than that of the GTR's. The STI is not even a problem for the Evo anymore. Not that it has been considering the evo has always been faster around the track and has had the cast iron block which is much better than the Sti's

dipshit, the c6 is a 2 seater rear wheel drive car. Evo is a 4wd 4 door sedan. The 335i also cant come close to a standard c6, neither can a pontiac g8, 350z, audi tt... etc. Evo is meant for driving in the twisties with all weather capability and practicality of 5 seats. It handles phenomenally at .99g lateral g, and 71.5mph through the slalom. The corvette is a highspeed sports car, the evo is a multipurpose rally derived sports sedan.

my has a 03 lancer es and i love it lancers and evos rule my dads car id dead stock but it rocks even though it is a lancer and not a evo it still kicks some butt. However, it only has the following...
120hp
150ft lbs of torque
and a 2 litter engine(so does evo)

how so? the 335i runs the quarter mile in 13.5 corvettes run it in like 12.7 The evo runs quarter miles around 13.5 as well.

i dunno how, maybe chevy sucks at gearing their transmissions. Look on dragtimes . com. there are a ton of supercharged Z06's on there with 550+ hp trapping only 12.1 in the 1/4. I know that my car traps a 12.4. I have a chip and exhaust. I'll tell you that my car doesn't dyno anywhere near 500HP either. My 0-60 is 4.0 flat. My car stock was able to trap a 13.1 on my best run.

also u can go rallying wit a full family in the car and this 2 litter has about 320 bhp and u can stir with one fingure the only thing out there that might be able to stand up to that is audi rs4 and thats prue german power. both 4wd both 4 door but the adui is 4.8 litter soo evos got it but both are the best of the best for 4wd.
