How can there be mistakes if each drum part is separately recorded to a metronome beat and then propably quantized afterwards :D

#2: Perfection is far too lofty of a title for them. FAR too much synthetic sounds to be called perfection.
#3: If you think Jimi Hendrix sucks you probably wear a helmet, and waterwings, and ride the short bus your favorite past time being tasting the windows in and around town.
#4: The very notion of mistakes on this recording is LAUGHABLE. Just because we saw a nifty video of them playing in the studio does not me thats the recording we actually heard.

i really do love dream theater definiteley in my top 5 bands right now but, i have to say, they cant right a good song. i mean when u listen to porcupine tree or tool, they may not be as good as musicians well excpet that gavin harrison is light years beyong carey or portnoy, but for some reason those two bands, their music just flows better than dt still pwnsss and their new record tops everything they have ever done!!!

dude you have no idea how much meaning is in their songs.
For example, The Glass Prison is about Portnoy's recovery from alcoholism.
And Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is about different kinds of mental health issues and how much more the world needs to be accepting of them.
Sometimes the meanings to their songs alone makes me a little emotional, because these musicians have such big hearts and wonderful values.
Plus the instrumentals are phenomenal.
