Try to learn more of what happen in the world and in portugal ... the way u and most brazilian here say things it almost feel u want to show that they are 2 diferent things but they aren't ... Portuguese is the name of the language speaked in brazil and portugal and thats it ...

As far i know, portuguese speaked in brazil is "brazilian portuguese", by the way i'm not sure, but the 2 languages are diferent, In brazil you speak one, and in portugal you speak other, but they ARE diferent. anyway both are portuguese, and both can be understandable beetwen them.
But this video really sucks, i gave 1/5 for it because theres no 0/5, it teaches wrong phrases and totally wrong pronounced.
Its also totally diferent from Spanish, but i can understand most of them.

Wise words coming from a portuguese, go take care of your hairy woman, Brazil was colonized by portugal, and with the time the original portuguese suffered several changes in grammar and in the way of speaking, also you cant that what a nation speaks isnt a language, you little ignorant portuguese.

foxusp since ur brazilian u shouldn't say such thigs ... there isn't a language called brazilian portuguese the language speaked in brazil is portuguese ... the brazilian portuguese is an expression invented to refer to the acent and expressions used in portuguese speaked in brazil ... same with england and USA, u could say USA speak american english ... but in the end they are both the same laguage ... there are some little difereces but they aren't that great ...

i know, thats EXACTLY what i said, the language spoken in brazil is PORTUGUESE, but people call it "Brazilian portuguese", only a way for reference.

European portuguese is more difficult for the english speaker because it has a more complex palette of vowel sounds. Many spanish and italian speakers have told me they can understand Brazilians but have trouble understanding any Euro portuguese, where there are more closed and short vowel sounds, much like french. IMO the two accents are as distinct as the difference between British and American english, but also with grammatical changes.

There`s no signficant difference between portuguese language in Brazil and Portugal. There`s no a such thing as a Brazilian Portuguese. Gramatically it is the same. In another hand, portuguese is number 6 most spoken language in the world thanks to brazil that represents something around 80% itself.

Na minha opinião, é muito difícil para aprender poruguês até mesmo par nós brasileiros, em 8 anos de ensino fundamental nós aprendemos bastante coisa mas não tudo.

Pfff, YES, THERE IS DIFERENCE.
Portugal has some words that ARENT used, or probably even dont exist in our former grammar, LOOK, first word is in brazil, second is in Portugal.
1-(BR) Abridor 2-(PT) tira-cápsulas
1-(BR) Açougue 2-(PT) Talho
1-(BR) Água sanitária 2-(PT) Lixívia.
1-(BR) Brega 2-(PT) Piroso.
As you see, LOT OF different things, that can even make a conversation not possible with some words

Yeah you are right... about the vocabulary it also happens inside Brazil!! We have different vocabulary in different states... but we can ask!! I have portuguese friends and when I can't understand a word I just ask!! hehhe I'm here just to see if those guys were speaking portuguese correctly hahah actually I wanna learn Russian!! :D

Me dá licença, realmente pode soar como uma falta de educação ou arrogancia dependendo do jeito que a pessoa fala, acho que eles deveriam ensinar aos gringos "com licença".
